no no no please don't make that mistake...
all...i repeat ALL depilatory creams have ammonia in them, regardless of how famous the brand is....
and in the long run depilatory creams darken your skin...so only use them as per instructions on the tube....Is it a good idea to use depilatory creme to remove the hair on the face for women? can it be harmful?
i think the only place you should use those creams is on your upper lip. but if it's in another part other than that area on your face, you definitely want to keep it away from your eyes. it may burn in more sensitive areas.... especially your eyes.Is it a good idea to use depilatory creme to remove the hair on the face for women? can it be harmful?
u shouldn't remove ur the hair on the face, u should apply bleach in salon...

Is it a good idea for a woman to shave her belly hair?
(since they are usually very light and small)Is it a good idea for a woman to shave her belly hair?
I feel the best thing to do would be to wax those hairs. It would last for weeks, and it wouldn't take more than just a few minutes to do such a small area. Much better than shaving, or using depilatories such as Nair, in my opinion. Give it a try! Is it a good idea for a woman to shave her belly hair?
no it isn't a good idea because they grow back 10x's faster and darker then they were in the beginning. When you are older your arm hair and belly hair tend to become very light and basically goes away. But it doesn't if you shave it. So i would not advise it. :)
%26lt;%26gt;%26lt;
the only reason they say it grows back thick is because it gets cut of like a branch would, at the base and that part is thick, so in that case it is true. Were as if you used nair or waxing it comes in with a softer point on the hair, making it feel less thick.
I wouldn't shave it. Shaving usually makes it grow back looking darker and feeling rougher, since it basically blunts the ends of the hairs. I would try waxing it or maybe using some kind of depiliatory cream.
not really. when you shave it it grows back thicker, waxing would be better if it really bothered you, because it will grow back slower and if you keep doing it wont grow back at all.
Woman that have babies through C section gets theirs shaved.
They shaved mine when I was operated on. I never had a problem with it but I didn't shave but that one time. You'll just have to try and see.

i wouldn't as sometimes the hair comes back a lot thicker and more noticeable, if there light and thin then i would leave them, but if there quite noticeablele you could mayby get them laserd?
hope this helps xxx
this is just me, but i find that its better to just pluck them out, that way i don't get any ingrown hairs, which i get when i do shave them....
no. i did it once and it came out darker.=[
just go to the pharmacy and get the hair lightners hat bleach the hair and make it look less visible.
just wax. the hairs are thin so it wont hurt. and it's a small area so it'll be a quick pull. You could even do it yourself.
if they are light and small leave them but if they are dark and it bothers you shave them. the only thing is once you start you ahve to continue.
I would say no. Maybe you notice the hair, but normally most other people don't. Belly hair on women is not noticeable at all. :)
If it is not noticible then I would say no. As the hair grows back it will feel strbbly (like sandpaper) and require you to always shave it.
it's not really important, but if it bothers you, do it. it's a myth that the hair grows back thicker!
well 4 me it grows back quicker but if its really noticable%26lt;%26lt;you dont wanna have a happy trail kinda embarresing so i would
I've done it a couples times, but it only grows back thicker, unless you want to shave it like every single day!
No, wax it. The hairs will grow back slower and eventually with shaving you'll get stubble there which is gross.
i dont know.
i dont have belly hair.
I do, and so do my friends
I think it makes it cleaner looking
nair is also good for that!
It just smells horrible
Probably would be better to wax.
no? wtf? -.-'; some peoplez ask such weird questions lolz.
yer i do it or epilate its such a small area it will hardly hurt xxxxxxx
i do it makes me feel less self concouse
its better to wax
no dont shave ur get alll hairy i would say wax
Ewww....I don't have belly hair. A happy trail??? Yuck...and I am Mexican too. I would wax it or lazer off. Good Luck and sorry for every one of u girls!!!

try wella s website x
I don't have a website but I do know that you should lighten or darken your hair by two shades, this is the most flattering.
well, first. whats your color right now?
NO, BUT JUST GO INTO THE HAIRDRESSERS FOR AN INFORMAL CHAT, THEN GO OUT AND BUY THE COLOUR THAT THEY SUGGEST.
the website www.clairol.com has this thing where you can upsoal a pic of yourself and change ure hair colour online!
do it!!
Yes. There's a really cool one at Clariol.com You can upload your own photo and try on different hairstyles and color. You have to register to play on it though. Just click on the ';try it on studio';. Have fun!!
as a general rule u need to go by the colour of your eyebrows if they are dark then u can get away with dark colours and vice versa if they are light !
normally i see what looks good against my skintone(in my case a deep red or blonde)but if you are going to a salon ask ur stylist.
it depends on your skin tone if your a cool tone person you certainly don't want a warm color

Ideas for short straight hair style for mature woman?
I am a woman in my mid fifties, with a hair style that needs updating.
I found a picture I like, except that I know I would not want to fuss with spiking my hair. Can you point me in the direction of another picture that I can show the stylist that looks similar, but is not spiked?
The picture I was looking at is:

Hair style/cut ideas for a woman with a strong jawline and long face?
Hi, I am doing some research on what hairstyle or haircut will look best on me. I have a long face, very strong jawline and a pretty large nose. Are strong jaw lines pretty, or desired? I used to absolutely hate mine! I also would like to make my face appear thinner and show attention to my eyes. Does anyone have suggestions on what hair cut would look best on me? I have mid-length hair now and I think it looks terrible, so I guess I am leaning towards short cuts.Hair style/cut ideas for a woman with a strong jawline and long face?

try hair vitamins that have luetin , and make sure you keep you rhair mosturized. natural oils like olive oil and avocado oils are the best ( grease clogs pores). Also drink alot of water and stay away from chemicals and alot of heat on your hair.Black women looking for ideas to help hair grow longer?
buy doo gro trust me it actually works my hair grew 2inches or more.
There is really no secret to hair-growth. None of those products you see on the beauty store shelves is going to help. A balanced diet and vitamins will help and keeping your scalp healthy is key. I take a hair skin and nails from GNC and I saw a difference after about 6 months in the strength of the hair. Get healthy oils into your diet. Healthy scalp means strong healthy hair grows from it and less breakage. Relaxers and hot irons ruin our hair so if you don't want to go natural then you really have to be proactive with taking care of your scalp. I have a sister who had damaged hair from relaxers that decided to wear a wig everyday just to keep from manipulating her hair with heat and it grew back so strong and healthy. This may be an option for you. Not everyone gets into wigs but she has a personality that is larger than life so the change of hairstyle everyday suits her.

This site which i also use has black women with long hair and good advice . look in the Hair Growth section .
BTW black hair is dry so moisturize and wash at least once a week cause water is a good moisturiser .
try using moisturizing shampoo cause normal shampoos clean hair well but dry it out but once in a while use a normal shampoo to clarify but after do a deep conditioning treament to get in some moisture and do protective styling to stop end from breaking and drying out e.g bun, cornrows.
don't use alot of heat it drys out your hair and if you relax your hair don't relax it more than once every 8 weeks and while stretching your relaxer out so long keep your hair moisturised and do a protein treatment to keep your hair from breaking and keep it strong but don't so it more then every 4 weeks .
if your hair is to tigh take it out that only breaks your hair and weakens it and don't brush your hair to much cause than thins your hair try using a wide tooth comb.
what can also is a conditioner wash which is when you only wash your hair with conditioner which won't do any thing to your hair it cleans it and doesn't strip your hair of moisture
you hair to remember black hair is naturally dry and dry hair is more fagile and break easier . you have to remember healthy hair grows so when your hair improves in health it will retain length and you will see growth be patiene.

Any ideas for short hair styles for ';bigger'; women?
I am a 26 year old stay-at-home mom. I'm looking for a shorter hairstyle for the summer, but I'm afraid of making myself look bigger than I am. I also don't really want an ';old'; or ';mom'; haircut, but I don't want a ';teenager'; haircut either. If anyone has pictures or ideas or SOMETHING that could help me, I'd be very grateful!Any ideas for short hair styles for ';bigger'; women?
Something with lots of layers and spikes can look young and is soo easy to style. If you have thick hair your stylist can thin your hair out and if it is thinner this will give you more volume and texture.
Products like putty and a bit of gel will make styling easy.

Ideas for shaved hair on women?
I thought of getting my hair longer [at the moment it's like 3cm longer than the hair line] but I got sick of it so I want to cut it realllly short.
And I also want to shave some parts of it [i've done it before]. But now I want more original ideas.
So pls give me pics.. And pls note that I DON'T want all of my head shaven.
tnxIdeas for shaved hair on women?
Race and texture of hair are really important to know.
a lot of styles don't work well with certain conditions.
going by your avator i would assume caucasion but could be an african american with a fair complexion, hispanic, etc.

Hair ideas for picture day( i prefer girls and women for this answer please)?
even though picture day id like in a year, im really nevous for it because my nose is really big. my hair is not straight after i wash it, it is puffy, frizzy, and no shine what so ever. i have side bangs that dont look good anymore so i have to pin them up. so it looks weird when i keep my hair down. when i straighten my hair, i look like a idiot, and i cantdo anything with the front. please help! major crisis. only nice answers please.Hair ideas for picture day( i prefer girls and women for this answer please)?
Ok I have a few pictures for different ideas....
http://www.fadedyouthblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/lauren-conrad-buys-new-house.jpg
**OK this picture is of Lauren Conrad but, I think you should keep your side bangs but, make them like she does...and I have the same hair problem. All you need is a good straightner like the chi, cortex or something liket that. And a good producct to keep your hair straight is the herbal essances dangouresly straight hairspay. It works so well and is inexpensive!
Second idea...
http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg72/collegefashion/lc-poof.jpg
**In this picture of Lauren Conrad she pinned back her bangs( i always do this look and is so cute and easy!) And you can straighten your hair again or curl it!
Third idea...
http://www.cupcakestastenice.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/lauren_conrad300.jpg
**You could take some of your hair in the front and braid it. And then put the rest of your hair in a side ponytail.
Fourth idea...

**Take your side bang and bobby pin them to the side and then straighten/curl the rest of your hair.Hair ideas for picture day( i prefer girls and women for this answer please)?
go to a professional and ask them to recut your side bangs and give you a new hair cut so when you straighten it, it will look cute. get some shine shampoo and conditioner. i recommend the suave vibrant shine shampoo and conditioner. I knoe it sounds cheap, because i usually use the expensive stuff, but this stuff is amazing! usually new shampoo makes your hair feel good for a couple of days and then gets normal again. but this doesnt - it is amazing everyday and it really makes your hair have a great natural shine. also when you straighten your hair, get a thermal spray so that you dont fry your hair and take out any more shine from it :) sorry its so long but its worth it. (everyone always says how much my hair shines since i got this shampoo..my secret) hahaha
Invest in a hair straightener.
side-sewpt bangs can improve anyone ...
add feathers

Does anyone have ideas/tips for women wearing long hair during basic training?
I have long, thick hair. I have no intention of cutting it before I go to BCT and AIT starting in April. Any tips from those who have been there?Does anyone have ideas/tips for women wearing long hair during basic training?
I french braid my hair. I've been doing it a long time and can do it in a minute or less. If you decide that's what you want to do start practicing now. In basic, I braided my hair at night and put a pantyhose on it. ripped off the pantyhose in the am while running out the door.
Some people prefer to ';bun'; their hair. . .my hair doesn't stay in a bun very long. Practice that too.Does anyone have ideas/tips for women wearing long hair during basic training?
I have no experience with the military, I work outdoors in logging and I have had the pleasure of working around women in this proffession and also in triathlons and ultra running. The norm for women with long hair is to braid it. On my personal opinion I also think it is sexy
French braids, corn rows (yes, they are authorized-check Army Regulation 670-1), or a ponytail. Lots of good gel will help too. If you wear your hair in a ponytail, put gel on the entire ponytail (roots to end). That will help keep your braid/ponytail together.
It will grow back.
