Any ideas for short hair styles for ';bigger'; women?

I am a 26 year old stay-at-home mom. I'm looking for a shorter hairstyle for the summer, but I'm afraid of making myself look bigger than I am. I also don't really want an ';old'; or ';mom'; haircut, but I don't want a ';teenager'; haircut either. If anyone has pictures or ideas or SOMETHING that could help me, I'd be very grateful!Any ideas for short hair styles for ';bigger'; women?
Something with lots of layers and spikes can look young and is soo easy to style. If you have thick hair your stylist can thin your hair out and if it is thinner this will give you more volume and texture.


Products like putty and a bit of gel will make styling easy.
