It is definitely okay for women to have short hair. Some look better with short hair than others, but it is a person's choice on their hair length. People's hair don't effect what type of a person someone is. People often use their hair to try to compliment their personality, but short haired women aren't any worse than long haired women.
Yes, some woman look good with long hair but many woman look beautiful with short hair too. Short hair is perfectly fine with me. And I highly doubt that God would mind if a woman had short hair. I think he cares a lot more about a woman's character than her hair. I don't think he even cares about it at all. And that is pretty sexist thinking.

Alot of women look great with short hair, as it shows more of the face - true beauty. Like tonsn of models have short hair as it suits a majority of the outfits they wear, prings out the face again.
As for hair men and women are anatomically and physiologically the same. If you want to put it religiously, God made both men and women able to grow their hair. I think that God gave us a choice to grow or cut our hair.
Men, back in the day, had medium length hair, or that is how it is depicted in all the illustrations. In the past, Chinese men didn't cut their hair. How are women different, why can't we have a choice to grow or cut our hair.
What about those women with cancer, some don't have hair because of chemotherapy. Is that not OK?
The way you put it, God meant for everyone's hair to be long. If he didn't then wouldn't all men have the same hair length?

yes,the bible does say that a woman's hair is her crown,but what God meant was just take care of it. You can have long hair but if its full of dandruff and all damaged and smelly and just plain nasty...that's no better then beautiful hair that's short is it??
Why not? I mean they are people, why not let them control their bodies and hair on it as an expression of themselves? They can shave themselves bald for all I care, but I prefer women that have hair.
What bugs me is that most of the schools I've been to (everyone in this town as a matter of fact) prohibit guys from growing out their hair or let people dye their hair...I really stinks how they think women have hair rights over us. And by not long I mean they don't let it touch the collar. And the only person it would distract that I know would be the teachers. Yet schools still prohibit it.
So, it doesn't bug me at all how women have their hair. What bugs me is when people won't let anyone control their hair.
I have short hair and it actually looks better than long hair all around my face. I never knew how pretty my eyes were until my hair was short.
Anyway my hair can be the way I want it to be...My hair is not my essence it doesn't define me

Women can have what ever length they want. We shouldn't all have long hair because 'God' made women to have long hair. You have any length of hair you want don't let 'God' stop you from doing what makes you You. Its common sense.
If that were true, God would not have allowed man to invent the scissors. I think however you want to wear your hair is fine. In my opinion, God cares about the inside of your head, not the hair on the outside : )

i think how u cut ur hair can be a form of expression. i myself liked (i cut it) my really long hair. but i think its fine for women to have short hair. it is sooo much easier to mange too. God made people and hair has nothing to do with it(in my opinion)

Yes, I do. I've seen women who look wayyy better with short hair than with long hair, because the length of a woman's hair can sometimes take away from the unique features of her face. It can go either way.
