Salons on the Park.
Several stylist in there....really helped by friend grow her poor nappy, dried, chunks of hair off scalp MESS back after a Bad perm and bad advice to get a weave. They are NOT cheap, but honey they work miracles. It was a process, and it worked.
She has lovely soft healthy short afro with a lovely color on it.
Trust me- m y sister friend was so upset about the hair thing, it was horrible for all of us whom love her. She is confident and beautiful with the way God made her hair with just a hint of color. I gotta tell ya.... She looks FAB!
I wish you the very very best, your deserve some crowning glory of hair.

What are hair coils for black women, what do they look like?
I have natural hair, no chemicals, I'd like to try a different short style, someone mentioned getting hair coils. I not sure what these are or what they look like. If someone out there can show me a picture of hair coils or give me a website that I might visit. ThanksWhat are hair coils for black women, what do they look like?
There are 2 types of coils. One is done with very skinny %26amp; small flexi rods that you can usually purchase at a sallys beauty supply store. And then there is a pin curl, its mostly done on neck lenght and longer, it usually done by finger curling.

I searched online and found absolutely nothing. You may have to just invest in great hair care products and flat irons and a creamic blow dryer, and learn to do it yourself. I found a hair extenstion salon in honolulu though, they say they do All hair types:

In the case that you completely run out of options, I guess you could try a sew in or possibly fusion.
In the instance that you Do have to learn to be your own stylist.. get a Solano hair dryer, and a round brush.. and blow dry your hair that way... no matter what kind of hair you have, that will make it tonnssss easier to flat iron (especially when u have really good ceramic flat irons as well).. that blow dryer blows the hair SO straightWhere can i find beauty salons in hawaii for black women hair texture.?

Does the Hair Club for Men/Women work well for Black hair?
I tend to not believe commercials or info-mercials. Are there any Black women out there that went to the Hair Club for Women (HCW) or Bosley and found that it worked for you? For anyone who knows, what is the technique they use anyway?Does the Hair Club for Men/Women work well for Black hair?
The short answer is:Yes, it is the same process for all hair types. There is a video on the web site that is not for the weak at heart. In essence they cut a piece of your scalp from the back of your head and graph that patch of skin where you want regrowth or thickening.
Below is a link to the photo and video gallery. Good luck.
I have never used it but I do know of a black woman that has and is four months away from doing her final photo shoot. She told me it took four months to see the definite results and you may need several more treatments depending on your eating habits, the condition of your scalp, medications you may be taking, and other medical factors.Does the Hair Club for Men/Women work well for Black hair?
yeah, my grandma had got it done and went there. it does actually work for her. my grandma is jamacian so she has very frizzy hair. it doesnt matter really what kind of hair you have. either if its white people hair, ethnic hair, biracial hair, it can work for any type but some people it may have no effect to a great nmber of it !
- good luck :]

Are there any hair salons, in Amsterdam, that do hair weaving, for black women?
I will be there for 2 months. So I want to know of any hair salons, before I get there.....ThanksAre there any hair salons, in Amsterdam, that do hair weaving, for black women?
They are all over the place. This is a good one. Interline Hairstudio, Rozengracht 51a, 1016 LS Amsterdam, NL telefoon: 020 62 66 012
Is close to central station, get on the tram 14 or 4 taking you thereAre there any hair salons, in Amsterdam, that do hair weaving, for black women?
I'm sorry I don't know specific hair salons, but I can absolutely reassure you that you'll find a specialised hair salon in Amsterdam.
There is a really huge and important afropean community. If you don't find a salon on your own just by walking around and enjoying the city, just go and ask the people in every other hair salon, or other black women as well! They are very open and virtually everyone in the Netherlands knows to speak English (much better than we Germans do %26gt;_%26lt;...) and they'll tell you where to go!
But I assume they know how to do it in the other hair salons, too; at least they know nearly everywhere in Germany or Italy for example, so I suppose the Dutch stylists are even more gifted...
I hope I could help a little. Excuse my English, please. ;) And enjoy your stay!
your best bet is to put some braids in before you leave or just keep it weave-free for the 2 months. you never know what you will find when you get over there. have a safe trip.

Best hair straightener for black women?
What would be a good hair straightener for black women (curly, frizzy hair)? (but my hair is thin) What have you used? I heard of infiniti by conair and the instyler...what do you think of them?Best hair straightener for black women?
The best hair straightener for anybody is a Chi.Best hair straightener for black women?
I have the conair steam straight infiniti and I LOVE it. Black hair needs moisture and this allows my hair to be straight and the proper high safe heat temp and the steam keeps it sleek!
Chi's are great straighteners. They work on any kind of hair I'm sure. Its the only straightener that works for me. It keeps my hair straight all day, and with a tiny amount of product before you straighten your hair, you can get most of the frizz to go away

Why is it so acceptable in society for BLACK MEN to wear their natural hair and not for BLACK WOMEN?
I wear my natural hair(in braids like my avatar). I get compliments from it from everyone
but i heard some black women tell me that many black men look down at black women that wear natural hair, and they don't find it attractive. I've never heard a black man tell me that....BUT if this does happen, then why don't those black men relax their hair too!Why is it so acceptable in society for BLACK MEN to wear their natural hair and not for BLACK WOMEN?
I think that's not so much a matter of race, but one of fashion-victims and gender.
I've got the impression that in the past ten years it was fashionable to have straight hair, whereas before that everybody wanted to have wavy hair and in the eighties the mainstream ran around with very tiny curls and large backcombed bangs.
And I guess the reason why they criticize you is that women have this tendency to force everyone into looking like a fashion clone, whereas it usually isn't expected of men to follow all trends. And actually most men don't care whether a magazine says that their favorite hairstyle has gone out of fashion or not - and they're right doing do.
So, just stay the way you are and keep your hairstyle. Imagine everyone ran around with straightened hair - it would be pretty scary and boring. Those women who criticize who just haven't got a sense of individuality. And as you can see from the reactions of the men around you: being attractive isn't a matter of hairstyle. Why is it so acceptable in society for BLACK MEN to wear their natural hair and not for BLACK WOMEN?
Well my hair is natural and I'm confident, I don't care if others don't like but most people are positive in regards to my hair.
Jill- you used an unattractive woman with natural hair most black men would agree these women are pretty with their natural hair:

Also if all black men didn't like natural hair I wouldn't be engaged right now.
I hate for anyone to try and make an issue out of a non-issue. Relaxed or natural....who gives a shyt. If I want to wear a mohawk, I will. It's not a concern for anyone else. I seriously doubt that a black dude will look down on a sista for wearing her hair natural. I am almost 40 yrs old and I have never heard or witnessed this. It must be a new thing pertaining to young people today.
i honestly think that it is black women themselves that say that, not black men and not any other person
what is this obsession with natural vs unnatural?
black hair is unique and i think black people should stay true to that
but then again i might get thumbed down because i am not black.
Who cares what they think? I'll wear my hair natural and if some white-washed nicca tells me that he doesn't like it that way, he can go and find himself a white girl cause I'm staying natural and nappy, whether he likes it or not.
Eats easier to convince women to spend hundreds of $ on hair care products. They've created a marketing demographic by instilling insecurity. Black women spend hundreds of millions on these products. I have no issue with a sexy afro on a woman.
Most women black, white, and hispanic dont wear their natural hair. It's either dyed, relaxed, or permed...even asian women dye theirs. Men don't care about that kind of stuff as much as women do.
Race is a weird issue, especially when it gets mixed with gender. I'm not black, but dated a black girl with braids and felt she was really hot.
I like natural afro hair. One of my black friends from Suriname has natural hair. She wears her hair in twists, and it looks great!
Who cares hair is hair as long as it looks good.
I perfer natural over relaxed
I guess people think it looks better on guys.
natural=sexy so f*ck what they say.
uh huh! You don´t know how tough it is for a white man in a black woman´s world!
girl don't worry about them, rock your natural hair and know that you are not alone, look at my avatar.

ratheer than fight standards of beauty, why not adapt to them?
you'll look a lot prettier
because afro doesn't look good on any women. the women should represent the feminine, grace full and delicate looking rather than the gross, harsh, coarse, huge and rough-looking.

Ultimate gold - Very good for black women and mixes very well with the relaxed kinky hairWhat are the best human hair extensions/wigs for Black women?
The new ';lace front wig'; is the newest fashion trend today. It's the absolute best in hair replacement for black women; as you can see in the media with beyonce, tyra, and other stars wearing them 24/7 on television and magazines.
The concept of lace was introduced in the early 90's and quickly spread to average working individual experiencing some form of hair loss. A lace front wig is the most undetectable hair replacement system and is offered in different hair textures that fits your ethnic color. For women of color yaki would be the best human hair wig texture to choose.
My mom does this stuff for a living. If you want to ask her this is her website:

there you go!
Remy Indian Hair is the best. Sorry I do not know where to purchase it, I never used fake hair.

Serious advice needed how to treat appaling hair breakage for Black women?
the on thing I would like to say is that if your hair is still breaking and your wedding was in august .It could be the stress from the whole wedding thing. Some time our bodies have a way of telling us that there is something going on.
So one of the first things you want to try is getting a deep penetrating conditioner. you also need to keep your hair well moisturized daily. You could also use a leave in conditioner.
(this is always a good ideal)Serious advice needed how to treat appaling hair breakage for Black women?
was it your first perm if it was that is the most logical answer
go to the store and buy something for damaged hairSerious advice needed how to treat appaling hair breakage for Black women?
Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2 x day or whenever you feel hungry. Has 93 vitamins and minerals. It is the only thing I could find to make my hair and nails grow super long and strong. Read the apple cider vinegar website. Lose weight, cure dandruff, aids digestion. So many uses.
Ive heard so many success stories from women who have used the Aphogee Treatment for Damaged Hair....its a little scary to use because of the directions and the process...but in the end it is WORTH IT.....
If you dont want to use something this strong you can try Motions CPR....you can find these at sallys beauty supply or other Beauty supply stores.
You need a good protein conditioner. Go to Sally and find Ion's protein conditioner/reconstructor. Use it to deep condition your hair once a week until it stops breaking off, and then use it once every other week and alternate with hot oil treatments. You need a combination of protein to stop breakage and moisture to increase elasticity.
You should go for hair massage with musturd oil.I know that you will eeeuuuu.... after ready this but it works.
There is this great product from sally beauty supply it's called Super Cholesterol hair conditioning cream for EXTREMELY damaged hair. It's amazing. It runs about $7.00 for a 2lb. pump bottle. Good luck with your hair. If that doesn't work then just get a hair trim.
maybe you need to get your hair relaxed at an afro and carribean hairdressers. ask for advice their and they should advice you.
if your having breakage that bad you should seek the advise of a hair dresser because after my sister had really bad breakage do to over processing they cut it back to health hair and gave her a protein and conditioner wash a year later her hair is back to normal I think it's longer then it has ever been and very healthy

They have the best kind of human hair that when shampooing, you don't have to worry about tangling. Just use Cream of Nature to prevent that. Or, you could try Milky Way. Here's a picture of a yaki weave...

I am so glad you asked. Remi by far is the best .I just got my hair done again, and it is silky soft. Remi comes in a red box, with a silver chain handle. There is also a silver bracelet around the hair in the box. It costs about $50.00, but you only need one box, and it's well worth it. The last hair I used came in a bag, said it was 100% human hair, and it wasn't. It matted up so badly, that I had to brush it extra hard to untangle it. The hair comes off the tracks sooner when you do this, so this time, I invested in something better.
Try it. You'll soon see what I mean.
You're going to look fabulous.

Does ion color brilliance wet or dry ceramic digital styling iron work well for black women's hair?
I bought it at Sally Beauty Supply for $80...I need something that will not dry my hair out. Does ion color brilliance wet or dry ceramic digital styling iron work well for black women's hair?
its works ok i barely bought it like 2days ago but with all sallys straghteners i barely found out all of the ceramic straighteners are just coated not actually full ceramic. i have a ginalli milano from the mall and prefer that one over the ion cuz the ginalli makes my hair smoother and its 100% ceramic. but i have really damaged bleached hair so im picky with straighteners but my sister likes the ion one alot.

Question for Black Women - Hair turns red with perm?
I'm African American and I've been coloring/perming my own hair for over seven years now. About a month ago I colored my hair Black using Feria.(sp). (first time using this brand) Two weeks after that my gf permed my hair with Dr. Miracle's and she noticed it started turning a redish brown so we quickly washed it out. Well earlier this week I decided to perm it (after two weeks from Dr. Miracle) and I noticed that my hair started to turn the same reddish brown. I just ignored it and continued the process. When I washed out the perm a patch in the front had turned a reddish brown color. My natural hair color is dirty reddish brown. Could my hair just be turning back to it's natural color or is something else happening? I've dyed my hair black many times. Could it be just the brand I'm using?Question for Black Women - Hair turns red with perm?
It's possible that the relaxer is stripping the color from your hair. If that's the case, the kind of relaxer that you might be using could be too strong. With that being said, you should never relax your hair 2 weeks after you color it. Ideally you should wait 6 weeks after any kind of chemical treatment before you relax or color your hair. Not only that, but it sounds like you are relaxing your hair too often too soon. Typically speaking you should get relaxers once every 6 weeks. My suggestion to you is give your hair some rest. Don't relax or color it for six weeks and try not to use a lot of heat on it either. Also do a deep conditioner at least twice during that six week period. I also have a question for you. Since you are relaxing and coloring your hair yourself are you getting your ends clipped so that it doesn't break off. If not I would suggest that you go to a salon and have someone wash your hair and clip your ends every 6 to 8 weeks. Also maybe you should try going to a professional and have them do at least one of those chemical treatments to your hair. Hope everything works out for you!Question for Black Women - Hair turns red with perm?
I've been using the Feria brand for at least 7years and I've never noticed any weird discolorations with mine. Feria is actually the brand that I swear by b/c it leaves my hair feeling very conditioned and shiny for weeks after. Plus the color is nice.
Maybe your hair is changing color b/c of the difference in brands from coloring to perming. You are going from Feria (by Loreal) to Dr. Miracle.
I personally think it could be the mixing of brands causing the discoloration. But to be 100% sure you get good hair color and texture out of this you should see a professional colorist. I know they're expensive, but it might be worth it this time around.
Good luck girl!

For black women. What is the longest NATURAL hair that black women can have?
I have never seen natural hair of black women longer than mid-back. Have you?For black women. What is the longest NATURAL hair that black women can have?
I'm 100% African American, no other race for at least 3 generations on either side. I have hair that will grow about 6 inches past my shoulders. It doesn't look that long because of the waves and curls. It looks shoulder length. But my grandma had long hair too and it's thick and wavy. I don't have perm and when I want it straightened I can use a hot comb or bevling iron. For black women. What is the longest NATURAL hair that black women can have?
It depends people's hair grows at different lengths. When my mom had her hair pressed it was down past her shoulders.
i don't know...i am 1/2 black but my hair gets trimmed twice a year....and i keep it at my butt level....but my family on my dada side all the black women have every long hair...some cut it because it's very hard to manage....so some keep it short by choice....
my friends hair(natural)it came a lil below her shoulder.
Well unless you wait a very, very, very long time that's about as long as it gets.
it matters on your family. Everyone says my hair is long for a black gurl, and I see why they say that, but my Mom has long hair. I think it just matters on your family.
It can be very long. It depends on the genes and the health of the person. Mine grows very long. Since it's curly, it's always a surprise when I straighten it.
My friend's hair is natural and almost to her butt. No joke!!!

Has anyone ever used this hair color for black women?
I have relaxed hair and I want to try sooner or later that Optimum or Dark and Lovely (can't remember which brand) color rinse. It's a temporary color and lasts only through so many washes...
Has anyone ever used it? How does it look? Which color should I use?Has anyone ever used this hair color for black women?
I'm really sorry about the anserwer above me. I reported him. Hopefully the answer gets removed before you see it. I think any type of hair would look good. My friend Jazzlyn was half Afrcan American Half White and she put in blonde highlights they were so pretty in her naturally dark hair. If you still wanna use that dye instead of getting high lights then dye it a brown color. It would be really cute!Has anyone ever used this hair color for black women?
i guess so ive seen all type of hair colors.

What are some quick and easy hair styles for black women?
I have shoulder length hair...and i get relaxers. Any suggestions???What are some quick and easy hair styles for black women?
WHen you relax your hair, get weave tracks in your hair so it makes your hair look longer and thicker.
It's what I'm gunna do.
It's gunna make it easier to style your hair anyway you like because it will be long you know.
Just find some hairstyles that work for you.
For me a easy hair style is just having my hair in single braids or the type of braids where you braid it at the roots and the body isn't braided that looks really nice but I have medium long hair so it can damage hair. It's better if your hair is short.
Good luck though :)

u can try keracare products. u can buy them at a salon or an ulta store. they have diff kinds so u can look but defintly buy the 5 in 1 deep conditioner. and use a wide tooth comb wen combing their hair, if letting air dry, use a serum (no lotion, it conatins water) or creme on the ends or wherever its frizzy
Definitely agree with Sandy. The mineral indulgence products are excellent..I have mixed race kids and the products have done wonderful things for their hair. They're all natural and aren't greasy, and really accentuate the curls in my daughter's hair the adult line has more of an extensive line of products like the curls by nature (which is the BEST deep conditioner for enhancing curls) but the kids line is just as good. The products are good moisturizers and have made my kids hair very manageable as well as softer to the touch. Other than that, I have a LOT of helpful tips for styling, combing, and managing curly mixed race hair, so you can email me personally if you like. Just make sure you set your profile settings so that I can respond back to you when emailing.

What are the disadvantages of getting a sew-in hair extensions for Black women?
It's actually much better than getting a glued in weave. The only disadvantage...is if you leave the weave in too long, or get the weave braided into your hair too tight...it can cause major hair breakage. What are the disadvantages of getting a sew-in hair extensions for Black women?

What are some natural hair options for Black women with 4a textured hair?
Braids, weaves, twists/flat twists, afros...I have coils now but I don't like them. I'd like a professional style. What are some natural hair options for Black women with 4a textured hair?
Type 4
According to Andre Walker, if your hair falls into the Type 4 category, then it is kinky, or very tightly curled. Generally, Type 4 hair is very wiry, very tightly coiled and very fragile. Similar to Type 3 hair, Type 4 hair appears to be coarse, but it is actually quite fine, with lots and lots of these strands densely packed together. Type 4 hair that is healthy won't shine, but it will have sheen. It will be soft to the touch and will pass the strand test with ease. It will feel more silky than it will look shiny. Oprah is a Type 4. Type 4 hairs looks tough and durable, but looks can be deceiving. If you have Type 4 hair, you already know that it is the most fragile hair around. There are two subtypes of Type 4 hair: Type 4A, tightly coiled hair that, when stretched, has an ';S'; pattern, much like curly hair; and Type 4B, which has a ';Z'; pattern, less of a defined curl pattern (instead of curling or coiling, the hair bends in sharp angles like the letter ';Z';). Type 4A tends to have more moisture than Type 4B, which will have a wiry texture.

Does anyone know of an effective anti-dandruff hair shampoo for black women's hair?
In the past, I have used selsun blue, head and shoulders, neutrogena, they all turn out to be a waste of money!Does anyone know of an effective anti-dandruff hair shampoo for black women's hair?
I have black hair and have had this problem. I went through so many products and grease that did not work. What I have been using for the last two months is Aveda Brilliant Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner. The Brilliant line is made for textured and chemically treated hair (I have a relaxer). I wash my hair once a week and leave the conditioner in for 5 mins. I then follow with a deep conditioner and I use Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Restructuring Treatment and leave that in my hair for 20 mins. For grease, I use Aveda Brilliant Anti-Humectant Pomade. I also never put heat in my hair without protecting it (I use Motions heat protectant or Aveda Brilliant Damage Control, Isoplus Oil Sheen very lightly, and Smooth n Shine Polishing Spray). Good Luck!Does anyone know of an effective anti-dandruff hair shampoo for black women's hair?
maybe try that new pantene idk if its for dandruff though
im in cosmetology school. and most of our clients come in and get the INDIGO peppermint dandruff shampoo. it works really good. and its hard to find in the stores so you will probably have to purchase it online.
you should use blue vu. my best friend uses it and says that it works, i don't have dandriff so i don't know but it might.
Have you ever tried Nioxin. They make eveything for your hair. I use there product in my head and my daughters. I dont have dandruff but my daughters did before I started using it in thier heads. Its not cheap but it works.
try Sulfur 8 and follow it with the Sulfur 8 grease/oil. It has a menthol smell to it, but it feels really nice on the scalp and is medicated to treat scalp conditions such as dandruff
Joico has an awesome anti-dandruff shampoo out there . Dandruff is flaking scalp so be cautious when choosing treatment. Alot of products out there use wax to coat the scalp, thus providing ';instant'; releif. not good. Joico will heal %26amp; remove the dandruff over 2 weeks. Once gone, continue to use to prevent it coming back. It will look like getting worse at first, but its just the shampoo removing the flakes.

What would happen if a white woman used hair dye formulated for black women?
Would the color still work? Would it damage the hair or be less damaging? What would happen if a white woman used hair dye formulated for black women?
My guess would be that it is more damaging.
Black womens hair usually tends to be thicker. It needs something stronger to penetrate it.
Hair dye for white women is just as good, so id just stick to that unless you have really thick or frizzy/curly hair! What would happen if a white woman used hair dye formulated for black women?
Nothing hair dye is hair dye its formulated for black women because of their specific hair needs but it can also be used on just hair period.black women use Ms.Clairol and nice and easy .Just make sure with any dye you use to condition and take care of it because dye is a chemical service. But it perfectly fine to use it .
Umm. ok....
Black pplz hair has strong oils in there hair. That hair dye that is used for black pplz hair might make ur hair fall out because white people have less oils in there hair. Im white and black I have to use white products in may hair because I don't have many oils that need to build up. Soo umm I don't think u should use it. Lol! Hope this helped.
it will probly work but would damage your hair. i do believe that black peoples hair die is stronger especially for lighter colors . but im not 100% sure.

What is the best skin and hair vitamins for black women?
something that will help to grow the hair and help to clear up the skin also. What is the best skin and hair vitamins for black women?
I dont think there is a specific vitamin for specific cultures but the one I use is skin, hair and nails by GNC and it works good. For clearing up acne there are birth control pills that do that. Clinique has a great line for acne for all skin types. For skin and hair advice for black women I would highly recommend that you go to www.blackhairmediaforum.com its a great website.

Are there any hair products for black women out there that REALLY work?
Not to be rude (well I'm not trying to be rude) but please if your not black do not answer this question. Are there any products I can find to grow my hair long and thicker than it is now? I've tried doo grow, wild hair growth, motions, etc but they never work with solving my hair problems (breakage A LOT, VERY thin hair, and SHORT). So does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks! Are there any hair products for black women out there that REALLY work?
I have heard alot of great things about using castor oil as a thickner. Sounds like what you really need though is a good moisurizer. Try going to the websites I have listed below. They are forums for Black women you are going through the same thing you are, and let me tell you, they know what they are talking about. These to forums are right on point when it comes to hair advice. Try going through the forums and see which are the options work best for you.Are there any hair products for black women out there that REALLY work?
Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day or if dieting, before a meal. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals so hair WILL grow. Take it from a black woman who has tried to grow her hair since she was 10. I am now 50 and finally growing my hair and nails. You must take it every day as directed for it to work properly. My hair has grown 3 inches in one month. No more adult acne either. Makes bones and teeth strong. Aid digestion, cure dandruff. Use pure coconut oil for optimum hair growth. Both cost just pennies and can be found at the local grocery store. You may use the coconut oil to keep face clear and clean. It is a good moisturizer for the entire body.
Not to be rude LOL you sound like my wife... she is very praticular with her hair care products and when I brought home bottles of Garniers Fructis sleek and shine (frizzy) shampoo she was rude ('this is white peoples shampoo';) very reluctant to try at first but after trying it she said that she would never use another =p
hey that's rude. doesn't matter what skin colors people have to answer this question. Well I'm not white or black. I'm asian and I just want to help you but if you don't like me to it's fine, just want to answer. And my natural hair color is black too. These are color-treated hair

Does hair products for black women also work for white women?
I've been trying to grow my hair out, its short thanks to a tragic incident at the salon...i was wondering if that Organic Root Stimulator Hair Fertilizer, or any other hair growth stimulator, intended for black womens hair also works on white women? Or willl your hair fall out ot something?Does hair products for black women also work for white women?
i'm not sure but i'd just be careful because black hair is alot more dryer (no racist) so, the chemicals used in the products are much stronger than they should be for your hair. i honestly wouldn't even think about it. hope i helped*(:Does hair products for black women also work for white women?
I don't think your hair will fall out but if it has mineral oil it will keep from keeping your hair moisturized. I have not bought any ';black'; hair products in the last year because the company tries to stretch the product by adding petroleum, and mineral oil. It also depends if you have breakage, split ends, and your hair type as well.
Check this site out: http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types
No. The only reason that they say its for black people is because sometimes their hair is thicker. I have big puffy hair and its red. is it any different that i use mousse that's meant 'fer a blonde chick?
(No Racism or Hairism intended....) wow that was awkward

Why do good hair products for black women always smell funny ?
I realised that hair grease, scalp oils and good hair creams for black women always smell funny. Why cant they smell nice and fruity like herbal essences etc?
Do you girls agree? Why do good hair products for black women always smell funny ?
No, I don't agree. I've used coconut oil for my hair and it smells really nice. Some of the products made by that company Carol's Daughter has a nice scent...and they use natural aromatherapy type stuff.
However, I try to go for unscented and fragrance free products whenever possible. Why do good hair products for black women always smell funny ?
black people have different textured hair sometimes, one of the chemicals used in products for that kind of hair dosent smell too good, although they do have nice scented kinds too

Quality human hair always works best. It really doesn't matter what brand, just make sure you get the hair from a reliable shop otherwise the weave will shed. Keep your real hair oiled, clean, and conditioned. You can do all of this while the hair is in you're head. Also try some shampoo and conditioner from the mall's beautician polars. My hair is the same way and it looks great! Not to mention my real hair is growing from it. I mixed the hair colors (brown %26amp; blk) and put the shorter weave on top. try a pack in a half and take care of it as if it were you own. Good Luck..
100% Indian remy or malaysian hair is the best. I use it all the time on my client and the ones who use it are the ones who's sewin last longer. I sell it on my site www.ttthair.comkiss lip gloss

What's the best way to take care of natural hair for black women?
My hair is extremely kinky, very curly, healthy, but very hard to comb. I do not choose to use chemicals, however, I do wear wigs and weaves. It's getting too hot to wear those now. What's the best way to take care of natural hair for black women?
Do you shampoo wash? I'm natural, but I don't wash with 'poo, I wash with conditioner. VO5 conditioner.
Also, try putting your hair in natural styles, such as twists, braids, bantu knots, etc. They look good, and they help protect your hair from damage. And try not to comb often. I only comb about 3-4x/month. I have too much hair, I'd rip it all out with daily combing. Deep condition, at the very least, 2x/month. Natural black hair NEEDS moisture.
Hope that helped! What's the best way to take care of natural hair for black women?
Visit http://www.natural-black-hair-care.info and read some of the articles we have on this site.
wide tooth combs, only comb wet hair, try a braid set, it helps to tame it
leave in hair conditioners, reduce shampoo useage and try a conditioner wash instead, no greases, natural oils are better.
Just use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and use a leave in conditioner. keeping your hair moisturized is the key to non kinky hair. A wide tooth comb will be your best friend also. I know it's mine. anyways find a good gel that works for you to bring out your curls. and keep your scalped greased also. Hope I helped some. Please add me to your contacts and email me w/ any hair questions you have via yahoo answers.
Braids are great for the summer time. It sounds like you have really try hair, a good moisturizing conditioner can remedy that problem. Try Queen Helene Cholesterol conditioning cream( get this item from local drug store). Remember once you apply this on your hair use a wide tooth comb (while wet) to clear your hair out.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Whats the best product to use to highlight your hair for black women?
Because of the brittle nature of African-american hair, you have to be super careful w/colouring it. I'd really recommend going to a pro for highlights if you want them done well (and that goes for black, asian, or caucasian hair...pro's always do it better!). If you really want to do it yourself, I'd suggest a light shade of Dark %26amp; Lovely hair colour - along with a highlighting cap (be sure to HEAVILY condition your hair first, as using the cap will NOT be fun otherwise). Hope this helps!
What are the natural, none chemical hair products that will straight kinky hair for black women without heat? i?
i came across about 3 of them. i have not tried them. in reading the descriptions, it appears that you would need a flat iron to straighten the hair. i tried to find what is so great about them. it appears that they loosen the tangles and kinks. if you know about the products, please tell me. but most of all, is there a such thing as an all natural hair product that will straighten or make the curls looser without chemicals or heat? What are the natural, none chemical hair products that will straight kinky hair for black women without heat? i?
Cocoa butter is used to supplement the natural oil in the hair, combining with it to add a protective coating to each individual shaft of hair. It provides each hair shaft with a smooth and moisturized surface, which renders the hair much more supple. This in turn loosens hair curls, minimizes tangling and allowing for better control when styling. It also provides protection from the harsh elements. Chemically, activator gel combines well with cocoa butter to create a mild, relaxing homemade formulation for straightening hair.
Fresh coconut milk is another natural solution for straightening. For a homemade relaxer, grind up the flesh of a fresh coconut in a blender. Measure out a glassful of the blended coconut. Now squeeze the juice of a lime into the coconut juice and stir thoroughly. Refrigerate it until a creamy foam develops on top. Massage the cream into the scalp and cover with a hot towel for about an hour. Wash out with shampoo and rinse well. Repeat several times a week. Your hair curls will gradually relax and straighten out.

There are natural things that will loosen your curl pattern, but not fully straighten your hair. For instance, henna is known to loosen the curl pattern. I used it once and I noticed a couple of my curls had loosened, so I went to a henna-based website and found out that it can loosen the curl pattern, which is why I stopped using it. It may or may not loosen it by much.
Either way, to straighten your hair you'll have to use chemical or thermal straightening. There is no such thing as an all natural hair relaxer (they deceive you in the marketing). The only thing ';natural'; about it is that it might contain a few natural ingredients, so that gives them the right to classify it as ';natural.'; Relaxers contain a strong chemical that's able to break down your hair's bonds to make it straight.
http://www.hennaforhair.comWhat are the natural, none chemical hair products that will straight kinky hair for black women without heat?
No, there is not. The only way to change the curl patter on hair is to break one of the bonds that holds hair together and reform it to another pattern. This can be done with water (like a roller set) heat, or chemicals. Those products just sound like weak relaxers.

http://www.hennaforhair.comWhat are the natural, none chemical hair products that will straight kinky hair for black women without heat?
No, there is not. The only way to change the curl patter on hair is to break one of the bonds that holds hair together and reform it to another pattern. This can be done with water (like a roller set) heat, or chemicals. Those products just sound like weak relaxers.
Is it the norm for European women to shave pubic hair or is that just an American fad?
I'm not sure that it's necessarily a ';fad';, as someone else said, I think it's more of a preference. But regardless of that it definitely isn't an ';American'; one. People all over the world do it, yes even in European countries.
As for shaving pubic hair being normal. To be honest, it isn't. There is hair down there for a specific reason. If it were normal to be hairless in the places that we shave, they would be hairless to begin with, ya know? lol. Some people do it, some people don't. Some people just trim it down.
It's just a choice to shave it off or not.Is it the norm for European women to shave pubic hair or is that just an American fad?
Its great for oral sex and you don't get pregnantIs it the norm for European women to shave pubic hair or is that just an American fad?

Should I just buy a wig or wash my hair everyday? This question is for women who are obsessed with their hair?
Other people stay away and don't criticize and judge :P
Well, i don't feel confident and good about my self unless my hair is washed and flat ironed that day. It's not curly but I like it when it's clean and ironed. I know that it's not very healthy to wash my hair everyday, so I wash it every other day. But my hair only looks good the day I wash it. I have to put it in a pony tail the next day and I really don't feel confident when it's like that. I'm thinking about washing it everyday and get it over with or buy a wig lol. What do you think?
Also, Is it common for you ladies to wash it everyday? Is it damaged because of that?Should I just buy a wig or wash my hair everyday? This question is for women who are obsessed with their hair?
Try to dry wash your hair on the 2nd day instead of washing it more. There are dry shampoos available at Walgreen's and drugstores, they're in a can and in aerosol forms.
What I like to do instead of washing my hair every single day is wash my hair one day, then the next day I'll rub baby powder between my hands then run it through my hair to get rid of the oils. This works fine for me. Sometimes, if I feel that I really need to wash my hair, I'll just do a conditioner wash, excluding any shampoo from my head.
I try to wash my hair everyday, but I found that it caused my scalp to be dry, which led to dandruff and damage, so the baby powder method works real good for me. HTHsShould I just buy a wig or wash my hair everyday? This question is for women who are obsessed with their hair?
I wash my hair every day during the work week, and I don't wash it on the weekends. My hair is fine. What I do notice, though, is that my hair dries out quickly. Shampoo is not gentle on the hair, no matter what is said about it. What I do once every couple of weeks is put a cup of olive oil in the microwave to warm it up. Then I put it in my dry hair, wrap it with saran wrap, and wrap a towel (heated in the dryer) around it. Leave it there until the towel cools down, then shampoo twice, don't condition, and style your hair as usual. It's amazing!
I don't think it's unhealthy to wash it every day. I seriously doubt you'd feel any better about yourself if you bought a wig, or did the flattening routine every day. Maybe you should try just letting your hair be itself a few days a week and get used to it. It's hard to break out of a primping routine, but I've noticed it only gets worse and worse like an addiction, until you don't even look like yourself anymore.
I wash mine every day. Try Sunsilk Hydra TLC shampoo, conditioner, and 24/7 creme. It will help keep it from getting dry, even through being flat ironed. Idk, but I love it. Also, I have fewer split ends since I use it. Whatever u do, don't get a wig.
You need MakeoverSolutions.com it worked for me when i had the same problem.
Good luck
well i wash my hair everyday and usually straighten it unless i want it wavy or im putting it in a ponytail, and my hair isn't damaged at all.
don't get a wig! that just has disaster written all over it! i suggest washing your hair everyday, but only use shampoo %26amp; conditioner every other day, and just a little conditioner on the days in between... shampoo is what dries out your hair so if you don't use it as much it won't damage your hair!
I wash my hair everyday..But i don't shampoo it everyday. I conditioner everyday..shampoo every other. have you tryed that??
You should try different hairstyles than just a pony tail...
up do's are actually a humungo sign of confidence..did youk now that???
You should try just spicing it up..
I don't think the wig thing would be the best..people would figure out and pick the crap out of you for it...sorry.

Do women know just how damn sexy they look when they put their hair up for a posh evening out?
Quite simply yes, as it shows off our necks which can be pretty sensual......Do women know just how damn sexy they look when they put their hair up for a posh evening out?

of course, we know when something looks good on us-but it's always nice to know that the men notices.
I have long thick hair that I usually wear up for work and when doing housework etc.

Is it okay for a women to have hair on her arm? Not alot, just a little.?
depends on who your trying to pleaseIs it okay for a women to have hair on her arm? Not alot, just a little.?
as long as her nickname aint Yeti.Is it okay for a women to have hair on her arm? Not alot, just a little.?
Of course! Yes! Body hair is there because it has a function... It protects your skin and helps keep it healthy...
It's funny how women, especially American women, hate body hair and they are obsessed with shaving / waxing - pretty much keeping their bodies ';fuzz free.';
Did you even know how American women got started in this whole shaving thing? It was because Sears wanted to sell more razors and they launched a campaign about being hairless.
Yes, its okay to have some, but you don't want it to look really visible, especially on dark skinned people..It looks better when there is no hair at all
Of course! I will take an imperfect woman over a seemingly perfect woman who got that way by disguising herself or changing her appearance somehow ANY DAY
There is absolutely nothing wierd, unattractive, or wrong with the hair on your arms, even if there is a little more of it than some other women have.
yea...
How hairy are we talking? Gorilla-ape type, or little fine hairs? All woman have hair on their arms
Some woman choose to remove the hair,it's up to the woman.
god how old are you?

What would happen if a woman used 'Just For Men' hair dye?
Uh, it would dye your hair?
It's not like using something that is ';just for men'; will destroy your hair. Hair dye is hair dye. Sure, some ingredients may not be identical, but unless it is specifically formulated to only partially dye the hair (meaning that it slightly covers a man's greying hair but not completely so as to keep it looking natural) then you will get the same results.
Salons don't use any special dye for men, they use the same dye on men and women. The only difference is the packaging; I doubt many men would want to dye their hair from a box with a woman on it, and most hair dye brands are marketed for women. What would happen if a woman used 'Just For Men' hair dye?
Probably not anything. I mean what could be the difference? We pretty much have the same hair types as guysWhat would happen if a woman used 'Just For Men' hair dye?
Nothing is different. Companies just have to market it to men because they'd be too ashamed to buy hair color with a woman on it, LOL.
But seriously, nothing will happen. Just be sure it's a full coverage color and not just a gray cover up - which may not yield the same results you were looking for.

Yeah, I dont see why she couldn'tMy friend wants to know if women can safely use the product ';just for men'; hair dye to touch-up small areas of?
it should be fine. really the only difference between mens dye and ';regular'; hair dye is that they don't package as much product because men typically have less hair and therefore need less dye. and they usually throw a little something extra in there so it doesn't stink so much.
if your friend has shorter or thinner hair then the just for men should have plenty of dye to cover her gray.
I don't think it matters -it could have different products in it especailly for mens use, I'd suggest using a womens touch up dye.
I'm sure your friend can use this dye. I really don't think it's as strong as regular dye for women's hair. Guys kinda do the subtle type dye so it's so noticeable all at once.....
YES

dont feel bad, everyone as they get older can lose hair, it might be your nerves, for me it was age..i used Rogaine. there are two kinds the pink for women and the blue for men..i got it at my local drug store
See a dermatologist or make your kids move out ! I felt like pulling out my hair when mine were teens !
stress, bad food habits, internal disease are the main causes
Drink a lot of water do exercises
practice yoga and meditation
will help you a lot
Yes your dr is right, stress can drop your hair. What you can do is, before every wash, rub coconut oil on the scalp, leave it on for 30 minutes and have it shampood thoroughly. Another remedy is to apply liquor like brandy or whisky on the scalp after washing to encourage new growth of hairs. My mum did that on my baby brother when he was a baby, but he was shaved bald before the application of brandy, not long after that his head sprouted bushy healthy hair. Of cos, i dont mean you need to shave your head bald, just apply the liquor regularly and hopefully it works.Good luck to you.
try Mega Grow( a yellow jar) you can find it at Sally's Beauty Supply

They'll just grow facial %26amp; chest hair too - that's all
.. nothing serious

if your on about the hair dye, chances are, no.
My boss (a man) recommended I use it. It was fast (5 min) and easy. I used blonde, my hair was brown - it looked like highlights. I dyed my hair 30 years ago and didn't think Just for Men was any harder on my hair than the hair dye for women.
No, it's just hair dye marketed in packaging for men so they don't feel they are buying a 'girls' product.

Why do woman pay lots of money for fake hair just to tell everybody it's not their hair?
I never understood why pay $100 for the best hair weave, get it styled real cute, everybody thinks it's your hair, and then you go around telling everybody you bought it. What 's the point in spending so much money if you're not going to claim it!Why do woman pay lots of money for fake hair just to tell everybody it's not their hair?
yeah.the proper response to ';ur hair looks cute!'; is ';thank you.';anything else is tmi.Why do woman pay lots of money for fake hair just to tell everybody it's not their hair?
Haha! Very true!
It's maybe a sign that they have a lot of money to spend on themselves? Plus, there is nothing worse than a woman claiming her hair/nails/breasts whatever are real when they blatently aren't so I guess this avoids that criticism.
It's better than lying about it. It's just like admitting your hair is dyed - I don't go around telling people that out of nowhere, but if the subject comes I'll freely admit that I dye my hair. I think most women will.
haha yeah i agree and i have no idea. if i payed a lot of money to have fake hair ide tell people its real and that i just styled it differently.
they do it because their hair is all rough and it doesn't look as nice as fake hair...all though now a days they usually buy real peoples hair and put it on theirs
yeah that is pretty stupid. the only way you shouldnt claim it is if somebody asked first if it was your hair.
I dont know
but whyd o girls wear weave and contacts and say its theirs?
Crazy isn't it?

Is it the norm for European women to shave pubic hair or is that just an American fad?
seems alot of women in the Western Hemisphere are doing that.get ride of
This is a question for pentecostal women-How do you keep your hair from breaking off? I just started letting?
mine grow out and it is so dry on the ends. This is a question for pentecostal women-How do you keep your hair from breaking off? I just started letting?
While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss and greying at early age. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .This is a question for pentecostal women-How do you keep your hair from breaking off? I just started letting?
You have to get regular trims so the ends stay relatively healthy
Does being pentecostal make your hair break off...?!!!! Does the Holy Spirit dry out your hair...?!!!!
Cut or trim ever 4 - 6 weeks
Use hair shampoo for dry hair
Use treatment shampoo every 2 weeks
leave conditioner on for as long as you can
Hennera Wax leave on hair all day if you can leaves hair silky shiny and ex condition

Is it normal for women to shave there pubic hair on there vagina or do people just let it grow?
IDK, I do, but that's just me. :-DIs it normal for women to shave there pubic hair on there vagina or do people just let it grow?
hell yes. shave its hella hot!!!!!!!Is it normal for women to shave there pubic hair on there vagina or do people just let it grow?
yes, men like to see it.
Don't just let it grow. That increases the odor. Keep it trimmed or bald please
it is normal but when the hairs start to grow you will feel itch
It is up to you. Whatever you like.
I prefer to trim. It keeps things neat, and I don't have to worry about razor burn or ingrown hairs.
I'm not shaving my vagina, just let it grow.
yes it is normal if its uncomfortable with you then yeah
its very normal....i HAVE to shave mine or i feel like a damn cave woman or something. but hey! you wanna let it grow?!? go for it!!
I shave. My husband loves it. But, it is a personal preference. I think if it is kept trimmed it can look good. But having a big bush when you pull off your clothes can not be a turn on. Just my personal opinion. Ask your man what he likes.
its normal
its perfectly normal. personally i always shave, i cant stand it if i dont.
i shave and most women man like it, Its all what you and your man wants I think. My husnad also shaves and we like that on each other.
This is absolutely personal preference. I always had trouble with razor burns. If you want to do so, use white, unscented deodorant on yourself. It's an old stripper trick as most of them shave it all because no hair is allowed to be shown.
peace
cut some or it at least one time a year....are at least...one time in ten years....

Question for pentecostal women does it bother you having long hair almost just for your religion?
or how do you find itQuestion for pentecostal women does it bother you having long hair almost just for your religion?
My hair is waist length. I have not cut it since I converted to Apostolic Pentecost 3 years ago. God spoke to me and I felt convicted about my hair. No one has told me that I can't cut it, but after studying the scripture and prayer I know it is right for me.
As for your question, my long hair doesn't bother me. I condition it regularly so it doesn't look dry and brittle. I love my long hair. I won't ever consider cutting it.
The scripture tells me that my hair is for my glory. It is a symbol of my submission to God and to my husband. God will make the decision how long my hair needs to be. If I were to get sick and all my hair fall out that would be God's decision also.
In short, I have allowed my hair to grow because God's word tells me to. How long my hair gets is completely in His hands.Question for pentecostal women does it bother you having long hair almost just for your religion?
Friend, My wife has long hair, One reason because she is Pentacostal, %26amp; 2nd, She has always had long hair, I don't force my wife to have long hair, she had it when we met in 1990, It is almost down to her hips, But you also need to understand, some woman can NOT grow long hair, is that wrong, No, But also you can see if a woman cuts her hair as short as a man, then that is wrong, My late deceased 1st wife also had long hair until a certain point, She died in 1989 %26amp; now my 2nd wife %26amp; I have been married 16 yrs. this month %26amp; we have not one time disagree about any scriptures, %26amp; I am not forcing my wife to have long hair, It is in her soul to have it. Yes also a woman can trim %26amp; cut their hair just as long as it is within reason.
Well, I have the gifts of the Spirit and my hair is short. I have many friends who are Pentecostal, and they have short hair.
Paul gave instructions to women to let their hair grow long. That was for that time period and in that Church (Corinth). In the city of Corinth, temple prostitutes shaved their heads. Paul instructed the Christian women to let their hair grow long, so as not to be considered a temple prostitute. He said it for their protection.
If women want to wear their hair long -- great! Men love it, it's fun to style, and it's pretty. Pentecostal women don't let their hair grow long because of their faith.
They do it because they want to.
Not all of them do this or believe this.
you dont have to have long hair to be a good christian what happens to all the women who lose thier hair thru illness its not like theyll go to hell.

I am getting my hair highlighted for years now and just recently see women prefer wait?
outside the dryer rather than under. Can some hairstylist tell me what is the difference. Is the shade brighter or prevent damage. I just remember that in my other salon (more upscale) I never sad under dryer, only when I had deep conditioner on. Please advice.I am getting my hair highlighted for years now and just recently see women prefer wait?
Hair color is a science. As with any science, advancements and new formulas are always being invented. Usually color that requires heat tends to be more penetrating and brighter. It also tends to develop faster, which in theory will cause less damage because the color will not be sitting on your hair as long. Talk to your stylist and ask questions about the color she is using. A well trained stylist should know the ins and outs of the color she is using and will be able to give you a nice little science lesson on the color .I am getting my hair highlighted for years now and just recently see women prefer wait?
Sitting under a dryer can make the highlights not show u as well as letting your hair air dry, but that is only with sertain kinds of dye. Do it what ever way you think will make the highlights show up best with the type of hair dye your using.
damage. it does like burn or damage your hair, just use foil for your highlites and wait! ull love them i promise!
idk ha.
Im not sure, Its kinda a confusing question.
I understand. When one of my hairstylists dried mine with the big... bowl thing (Do you know what I'm talking about?) it turned out a brighter blond than when we just left it and I sat and waited for a little. I guess that if you want a brighter color, you should use the dryer.get ride of

Do men's barber shops cut women's hair, say just for a 2 inch trim? Just a trim. Nothing elaborate. Would it?

Are men (and women for that matter) with excessive back hair just not fully evolved from monkey-people?
I once saw a man doing yard work in a black shirt, only it wasn't a shirt. Could he be the missing link? Are men (and women for that matter) with excessive back hair just not fully evolved from monkey-people?
Nope.
Just their family line.
Some have a lot of hair on their bodies and some do not.
Nothing to do with missing link or monkeys.
Such utter nonsense anyway. One would have to be an idiot to believe that crap. Are men (and women for that matter) with excessive back hair just not fully evolved from monkey-people?
Perhaps his forebears had a strong link for the silver back gorillas of northern Uganda and developed an efficacious desire for them. I hear they are soft and cuddly despite their menacing appearances. But I would only suspect that someone like that was the man or woman who could have been inspired by the primates to invent Nair.
Actually humans (ALL humans) have about the same number of hair follicles as chimpanzees and the other great apes, but usually most of the hair follicles aren't properly stimulated and the hair is too fine to see at more than arms length, just like women have as much facial hair as the most rugged bearded man, their facial hair follicles just don't receive sufficient testosterone to produce visible hair.
Its very difficult to say and I doubt if anyone on this forum can answer that question.
Hairy people are nothing to do with monkeys or apes.
I don't know but i do know it usually only happens to white people
No, Blacks are the missing link. That guy was just hairy.

Who started the whole short hair thing for women its meant for men Just dos not look right ?
Some women look very attractive with shorter hair, just like some men look better with slightly longer hair. Who started the whole short hair thing for women its meant for men Just dos not look right ?
I don't know who started it, but I'm glad they did! my hair looks really awful when it grows to collar - length ( the longest I've allowed it to grow to) so I decided to keep it short. It's easier to manage, and always looks neat.Who started the whole short hair thing for women its meant for men Just dos not look right ?
Most probably the media and social conditioning to tell you what looks good and not, eg. lots of hair on men used to be hot now it is disgusting eg. Sean Connery back in the day
Audrey Hepburn, and nobody is going to argue with her
i don't know but i will never cut my hair short it wouldn't look right

Can a guy use nair sensitive face cream to remove hair? or is it just for women?
i get bad razor burn so instead of shaving i was thinking of using this nair face hair remover...
http://www.naircare.com/products/sens_faCan a guy use nair sensitive face cream to remove hair? or is it just for women?
Male facial hair is pretty thick and nair is better for fine hair so I strongly discourage that idea. It will not work, try using an electric shaver instead and use this product called Tendskin which is great for razor bumps
PLEASE do not use nair on your face!!Can a guy use nair sensitive face cream to remove hair? or is it just for women?
No, its not just for women men can use it to...
Just let it sit a little longer then directed..

I dated a woman who mowed the lawn and kept it bald, well I was living and spending the night during various times of our relationship I evan showered with her several times a week and her cookies were still smooth on my face no stubble how did she do that? Is there some sort of oil or lotion for daily use that prevents pubic hair from growing fast? just curiousJust curious about hair removal for women?

Does JUST FOR MEN (the hair dye shampoo) work for women too?
Yes or no?
If you say no, then please state why.
ThanksDoes JUST FOR MEN (the hair dye shampoo) work for women too?
Yes. My mom has used it. It works fine.
Hair is hair after all.Does JUST FOR MEN (the hair dye shampoo) work for women too?
No, men's hair is different from women's hair. It is, somehow, more masculine.
It is less dye than a womans dye because mens hair is usually shorter....also it isnt as strong...

Is it normal for guys to dye their hair just like women?
I have dark brown hair and was bored and decided to dye it blonde then after that I dyed it black and was wondering if its ';normal'; for guys to dye their hair.Is it normal for guys to dye their hair just like women?
no a lot of guys dye their hair. My boyfriend does so does my brothers, and guy friends.
who told you it wasn't normal b/c thats such bsIs it normal for guys to dye their hair just like women?
I know TONS of guys that do this to their hair. It's getting a lot more common, guys both younger and older. If you enjoy mixing up your hair color its fine. Just make sure you pick colors that arent too drastic and that go w/your skin tone. Ask a stylist to guide you. Don't forget to use lots of conditioner to keep it healthy, as the peroxide and dyes really damage your hair if you don't keep it conditioned. And have fun! :)
a lot of guys dye their hair
it's not unusual at all
but, i would suggest not dying it, cause if you do it too many times or you get it wrong, it might look gross, your hair might fall out, and if you dye it a total different color, the roots look SO gross
No, it isn't wierd! How in the bloody nine hells can it be odd for a man to dye his hair? For the morons who answered yes, I must say, it is not. And most people do dye their hair. Just because you want your hair another colour does not mean it is 'girly' and a man cannot do it.
So go for it. :3
What harm in it, everybody right to look younger , like females do, Dark brown shade is perfect for guys Or anyone he or she having lots of gray hairs, then don't use fashion shades
My mother dyed my father's hair all the time. She had to talk him into it because she didn't use ';Just for Men'; or anything like that. Now a days anything goes, I've even seen men use hair spray.
um it's kinda weird. for guys i think it's just better to leave your hair color the way it is. it's more attractive tht way
um that is the weirdest question ever! lol I don't think there is anything wrong with guys dying their hair!
It's gay for a man to dye his hair at any age for any reason.

Is it wise for a man to use women's hair coloring and a woman to use Just for men hair coloring?
It's the same thing, just marketed differently. Is it wise for a man to use women's hair coloring and a woman to use Just for men hair coloring?
I have a guy friend who has dyed his hair with female hair dye and it turned out great. Another time he used Just For Men and it didn't turn out good at all. So I wouldn't suggest that a woman use just for men hair dye.. Is it wise for a man to use women's hair coloring and a woman to use Just for men hair coloring?
Sure.

Are hair salons just for women?
How would you react if you were getting your hair done and you saw a guy come in to the salon? Are hair salons just for women?
I wouldn't careAre hair salons just for women?
i would think its fine if a guy came into a hair salon.
theyre not just for women, are they? i dont think they are.
I don't think that's uncommon these days - lots of guys have their hair colored, and they'd pretty much have to go to a salon for that
I wouldnt care! Its normal for a guy to want to look good, color their hair, cut it,,,,totally normal
Well guys need to get thier hair cut as well so I wouldnt mind It would be weird if their getting an updo but some guys do their eyebrows and definatly need their hair cut:]

Is there such a thing as just bangs for women in hair extensions? All I want is the very front to clip in.?
To me, if your bangs or the front of the hair around the face looks good, the whole thing looks good. I have wavy dark brown hair. When I want my hair to look its best, the more I fool with it, the worse it looks. I wish there were just some bangs to clip in, and be good to go.Is there such a thing as just bangs for women in hair extensions? All I want is the very front to clip in.?

yes there is. i recently brought a clip in fringe/bang from Japan. the tiny label on it says Malibu so I'm presuming thats the brand. it cost me around $40 and is pretty good quality. however at times it seems to sit on my head, not with it.
