Is it wise for a man to use women's hair coloring and a woman to use Just for men hair coloring?

It's the same thing, just marketed differently. Is it wise for a man to use women's hair coloring and a woman to use Just for men hair coloring?
I have a guy friend who has dyed his hair with female hair dye and it turned out great. Another time he used Just For Men and it didn't turn out good at all. So I wouldn't suggest that a woman use just for men hair dye.. Is it wise for a man to use women's hair coloring and a woman to use Just for men hair coloring?
