I'm 100% African American, no other race for at least 3 generations on either side. I have hair that will grow about 6 inches past my shoulders. It doesn't look that long because of the waves and curls. It looks shoulder length. But my grandma had long hair too and it's thick and wavy. I don't have perm and when I want it straightened I can use a hot comb or bevling iron.For black women. What is the longest NATURAL hair that black women can have?
It depends people's hair grows at different lengths. When my mom had her hair pressed it was down past her shoulders.
i don't know...i am 1/2 black but my hair gets trimmed twice a year....and i keep it at my butt level....but my family on my dada side all the black women have every long hair...some cut it because it's very hard to manage....so some keep it short by choice....

it matters on your family. Everyone says my hair is long for a black gurl, and I see why they say that, but my Mom has long hair. I think it just matters on your family.
It can be very long. It depends on the genes and the health of the person. Mine grows very long. Since it's curly, it's always a surprise when I straighten it.
My friend's hair is natural and almost to her butt. No joke!!!
