Do you think this new decade will bring short hair for women back in style, like in the 80's-90's?

I think the extra long Barbie doll hair is getting old, (especially on older women) and isn't as stylish as the inverted bobs and shoulder length styles. I love Cameron Diaz's hair in Something About Mary, and Natasha Richardson's hair in The Parent Trap, and Halle Barry's hair in Executive Decision. More recently, Diane Lane's hair in Nights in Rodanthe. What say you?Do you think this new decade will bring short hair for women back in style, like in the 80's-90's?

There is a good reason why beautifully long hair is old - it is simply because it takes years to get it that long! Anyone can have short hair in a couple of minutes.





Barbie doll hair, like Barbie doll anything is synthetic. There's no comparison with that plastic blonde with a real woman with real hair with a variety of natural colours and textures and moods, ever interesting.





I care nothing for stylish. Just a posh name for ugly and spoiled really.





I have started writing to a lovely lady with long hair, who is 47, but could just as easily be 20 years younger or 20 years older. She is timeless, and age does not affect her beauty at all.





In the end though, it all boils down to personal taste - women will be with hair they can most identify with.Do you think this new decade will bring short hair for women back in style, like in the 80's-90's?
Maybe but I think if you'd asked men the majority of them love long hair I don't what it is but they adore it.


Not that it should a big reason if you want to have short hair and you like it.
I definitely think that short hair is coming back. It was in during the last years of the decade, so that shows promising future for the look in 2010 and beyond.
