Why do good hair products for black women always smell funny ?

I realised that hair grease, scalp oils and good hair creams for black women always smell funny. Why cant they smell nice and fruity like herbal essences etc?

No, I don't agree. I've used coconut oil for my hair and it smells really nice. Some of the products made by that company Carol's Daughter has a nice scent...and they use natural aromatherapy type stuff.





However, I try to go for unscented and fragrance free products whenever possible.Why do good hair products for black women always smell funny ?
black people have different textured hair sometimes, one of the chemicals used in products for that kind of hair dosent smell too good, although they do have nice scented kinds too
