I heard long hair for me would make me look stalkier. any ideas? would a certain style kind if make me look taller and leaner?What would be the best hair style for a woman if shes short and kind of stalky?

Visually, long hair would make you look shorter (think overall body lines). Short women should not have hair below their chin. why? because if it was longer, it gives the 'no-neck appearance'. I suggest either a chin length bob or something shorter. Its best to find a style that does fit your face. As a stylist, this is just a general rule for us. You also need to take other things into consideration-do you have a thick neck? Is your face really round and full? These factors will help in deciding if you should go Sharon Stone/Halle Berry short or Jessica Simpson/Nicole Richie bobstyle or something in between the two variations.
It is ';stockier'; not ';stalkier';...unless you are a stalker LOL. Your hair style mostly depends on the shape of your face. If you have a round fat fact, try something shoulder length that layers around your face to frame it.
