also chronic fatigue, poor immune system. My regular Dr. has done all kinds of tests: thyroid, blood sugar, anemia, diabetes, mono. Everything on my blood test comes back normal, but these symptoms are NOT normal! I am talking serious sweating and odor, and thick body hair that grows where only men have hair. Even if I shave , I can start to see and feel stubble 6-8 hours later. When I exercise, my clothes get soaking wet. It is so disgusting and embarrassing! I need to know who can help me.What kind of doctor should a woman see for these symptoms:excessive hair growth, mucus, sweating %26amp; body odor?
You probably have polycystic ovaries. You can try an OB/GYN or skip that and go straight to an endocrinologist. What kind of doctor should a woman see for these symptoms:excessive hair growth, mucus, sweating %26amp; body odor?
How old are you? You probably have something called PCOS. It causes hair growth and all of the symptoms you are explaining. I am not sure EXACTLY what it is but I know someone who had it. I think they put her on a form of estrogen. I would go see a Gynecologists. Do a little research on PCOS yourself then you can be prepared when you go to the Doctor. Good Luck! Hope this helps.
SuperVib... said it well. Go to an endocrinologist. And you could go to an ob/gyn, but you might want to go to a reproductive endocrinologist instead. This is someone who specializes in both endocrinology and gynecology.
