No. Women with really long hair are probably jealous of women with short hair for having the guts to get a real style.

It is easier to cut hair than to style it. My ultra long hair, beyond floor length, allows me endless possibilities for styles and fun. Do I wear it up for a special occassion, in various braids for fun, or let it flow free, and should it be straight, curls, or waves? I also love the compliments.

No way. I wish I did look good with short hair, so I am just happy for them when they do look good. It's like putting lipstick on a pig - what if I had Anjelina Jolie's hair and the rest looked like Ugly Betty? It's all about confidence and what makes you feel good that will translate into looking good to others.
I know I look better with longer hair - otherwise I would try it again. Plus they have good extensions these days - so even if you do get the wrong cut you can ';fix'; it ASAP.
I don't think that women with long hair feel bad for women with short hair. I have long hair(waist length) and don't feel bad for women w/short hair.
I just feel that is there preference and that is how they like their hair.
Does it really matter what people would think if you have short hair? It is up to you how you want to wear your hair.

I have very long curly hair. I like my hair, but I also think girls with short hair are sexy. As long as the face can carry the short cut, it can actually look nicer than long hair.
well i don't think so. i have hair down to my shoulders and recently met a girl with very short hair (a bob going up towards the back) and i thought it was cute. I don't have bad feelings towards women with short hair. Just think: do you treat women bad who have short Hair?

I absolutely love short styles and wish I could do it and love Natalie Portmans look. However my curly hair wont allow for something too short. I admire your courage for wanting to go for it! If your hair has waves or is curly, make sure that your hair looks good both ways and is easy to maintain. Otherwise, who cares about ';other women';? If you feel good in your skin, it will show!
I've had long hair all my life and when I see a woman with short hair, I concider cutting mine. But I'm chicken! I think short hair is fun and sexy. I say, do it! Who cares how other women treat you! Do what YOU want. You will probably be envied and admired. I wish I had the guts to do it!
It's your hair and you have the freedom of wearing it at you choose. I have long hair because of choice and am no jealous because someone has short hair. The way we dress or do our hair is our own individuality ,so I say make your self comfy in the chair and have fun !! I dont think anyone will treat you any different. If they cant accept you for you ,well ya need to stay away from them !! :)

they'll take it in good stride unless the haircut suits u. i myself have had many haircuts and have been praised for it if it's been good.

I have extremely long hair, it is below my butt. I do not treat women with extremely short hair any differently than I do women with long hair. Most of the women in my family have hair that is above their shoulders. I have had mine long for so long and my husband love it so I have chosen to keep it long.
If you have long hair, and you are having a bad hair day, you can just pull it back. Short hair can sometimes be a pain to style. I only feel sorry for women who are going through the stages of growing their hair out. I have been there, and it took my hair forever to grow out.
