For the Black Women's Hair-----------?

..........Have you tried mixing your own hair oils or hair creams?------If so, what do you use?

I'm trying to make my hair grow.

I just learned that Petroleum and Mineral Oil are bad/not helpful to our hair,

YET..........

if you go to the beauty supply store,

every product there contains one of the other or BOTH!!For the Black Women's Hair-----------?
I heard that she butter and ovacado is really good 4 your hair and complexionFor the Black Women's Hair-----------?
Shea butter is very nice by a line called Cantu.

Olive oil is a natural conditioner. Comb some warm oil through your hair, before you wash it, then shampoo with a really good shampoo like Pantene or Nexxus.

';Is your hair as dry and brittle as sagebrush in the desert? Put the moisture back into it by heating 1/2 cup olive oil (don't boil it), and then liberally applying it to your hair. Cover your hair with a plastic grocery bag, then wrap it in a towel. Let it set for 45 minutes, then shampoo and thoroughly rinse. ';

Avoid products like Pink Oil Moisturizer, which actually coat the hair and keep moisture locked out instead of in.
I've been using tea tree oil in my hair...and do you know what??? Most of those hair products for us like Motions really aren't good for our hair!!! I've been using Paul Mitchell Tea Tree oil shampoo and conditioner and I love how it makes my hair feel. But I haven't tried to mix my own hair cream.
I tried mixing products, %26amp; my former foster sister told me, ';I HOPE ALL OF YOUR HAIR FALLS OUT!'; But that was cruel for her to say. Many people say Petroleum jelly isn't healthy for your hair at all, %26amp; others say it helps your hair grow faster. EVERYONE says that Castor Oil helps your hair grow SUPER fast, but it makes your hair more coarse, like petroleum jelly. My best friend told me that I should use BB Oil Moisturizer %26amp; LOTS of it, %26amp; keep it moist. One hairstylist told me today that in order to minimize hair breakage, start conditioning from the ends %26amp; then work your way down to the roots. %26amp; always use leave-in conditioner. %26amp; start combing %26amp; detangling from the back %26amp; the ends %26amp; work your way up to the roots %26amp; the top, so that the hair would be more smooth %26amp; have less tangles.
Something called wild growth is said to be great for all types of hair textures. Can also be used on nails and cuticles.
