What's the differnce between a ceramic hair straightner and one that is ceramic coated?

No, I don't think it's damaging. I'm not sure what the difference is between ceramic and ceramic coated is though. If you're unsure, just use a heat protecting spray before you straighten it.What's the differnce between a ceramic hair straightner and one that is ceramic coated?
I dont think you would get damaged hair from it but if you do you can use time repare shampo.
