To get hair like that split your hair into two layers (top and bottom), curl the TOP layer of your hair, and straighten the bottom layer. Good luck!Can I curl my hair like this with my ceramic straigthener?

To make the curls last longer, spray in some hairspray and use a little mousse before you curl it.

you can't curl your hair with a straightener
You will not be able to do that unless you want ';blocky'; curls all over your head. Why I'm saying this, is because that is a hair straightener. Try getting a curling iron that is shaped like a cylinder. Get a skinny one though, it will shape around your hair better, and your curls won't be too big.
you can only curl the bottom of your hair with a straightener. to do that look, you need a curling iron sorry hun.

I think you can achieve that look but put your straightener on a lower setting and if your hair is long like in the picture start closer to the root of your hair and continue to twist your straightener to the end of you hair.
you can curl your hair with straighteners but with the size of your straighteners your curls will be tighter than mischa barton's in the picture. what you need is a large set of curling tongs...

probably not, you need a curling iron or curlers, put loosely in your hair for the wavy effect you like.
You can. Especially since your straightener is skinny--1''. You'd have to curl it smoothly (like, don't stop when curling) so that dents don't appear in your hair. Skinny straighteners like yours can do a great job curling hair like that! =)
