okay my hair is permed but everytime i apply some dooky gel or some jam, my hair edges get back frizzy. like an hour later, do you no of anything else i can put on my hair edges to keep it down, i use a scarf to it still doesnt work. i even sometimes use a flat iron then some gel. so what can i do. thanks in advance(HELP)How to lay down frizzy hair line edges for black women?easy 10pts?
Make sure when you relax your hair use the relaxer on the edges of you hair last..if you do this in the begining it can damage, or even make your edges fall out..after you have applied the relaxer at the end of that process, smooth the hair down so that you can see that is had gotten straight..pay close attention during the rinsing proccess around those edges (it sounds like your edges are under processed if the are sticking up or frizzy)you can also try on your hair and a foaming or non foaming wrap lotion, comb and smooth the hair down or in a circular motion (you may need help with that depending on how long your hair is. then sit under the dryer (If you are using a flat iron (ON DRY HAIR), use marcel wax on your ends (not alot..play around with it to see what amount works for you) you can either use bees wax, or marcel wax..use it on the entire hair shaft for a more smoother look..when i read your post i cringed, only because we had to be broking while in cosmetology school for saying ';perm hair'; for black people we get our hair relaxed (to take out the curl, A.K.A naps..LOL) and i have been out of school for some years now, still cringing go figure. also deep conditioning your hair (shampoo'n it and using a REALLY good conditioner..not the cheap stuff if you can stay away from it) then sit under a dryer for 10-20 minutes.depending on how damaged your hair is. and if you do not have a hooded or bonnet dryer use just a plastic cap (A.K.A curl cap) on your hair for 10-20...do this once a week along with the marcel (orange in color) or the bees wax (which can be black, or yellowish in color) from a beauty supply store...please be considerate of what you are eating or not eating because the health of your hair starts from the inside out..if you are not taking any supplements you may want to look into that as well..Biotin from Now..is FAB-U-LOS on your hair, skin and nails!(HELP)How to lay down frizzy hair line edges for black women?easy 10pts?
I think there are two possible options


1) Cut the ends. They maybe split?


2) Use some straighteners at an angle to curve over the ends.
