Yes. Henna was the preferred hair coloring product suggested by my OBs. Henna is completely natural and the safest route in avoiding chemicals and fumes if you are choosing to avoid these during your pregnancy. I used the ';Parisian Mahogany'; color and it turned out great.
Most hair dye products are safe but if you want to make sure ask your doctor. Women in the olden days were adviced not to dye their hair but that is when the products were strongest and they did not know much. I dyed my hair through out all my pregnancies. Good luck.
well first congrats on being pregnant.... my OB told me the only thing i could use would be the henna.. she said not to use anything else.. shes very very old fashion and strict... but hey i like it cause i want a happy healthy baby.. i had brown hair with blond high lites and the high lites were getting kinda low... so i asked what i could use and she said ONLY HENNA.. cause its all natural.. but some dr's aren't as strict.. but i would check with your ob and see what she or he says.. good luck to you

My dr told me just not to use any kind of bleach dye. everything else would be fine.. he also suggested i sit near an open window is possible or wear a mask. because the smell of the dye may make you pass out.. i would say henna hair dye would be fine

You should only use pure organic Henna as there are other Hennas out there that contain p-phenylenediamine, dihydroxybenzene, and aminophenol which are synthetic chemicals %26amp; not healthy for you or your baby.
Henna is good for virgin hair meaning not colored, you can use any hair day as long as you past your 1st trimester.
you can do whatever to your hair after your 1st trimester
