well i use jam and i have fine relaxed hair. my biracial friend uses it 2 and her hair is pretty 2.
Not sure they should be using hair gel, she should be using some grease or oil, or lotion. Gel I would think would only dry their hair out and damage it...are you talking full black women or biracial?

I use to use Ampro's prostyle, you can get it from any beauty supply store, but I wouldn't recommend using it everyday. I use to put gel in my hair daily %26amp; it wasn't really growing, but since I've stopped it has grow about 4-5 inches in a year.
