since it's the summer,i heard that hair grows faster in this season. i'm already taking biotin and i dust (very slight trim) my ends every 8 weeks. i wear my hair up in a bun or a french braid 6 times a week. i wash my hair once a week. my hair is coily/wavy-like after it dries. my hair is currently 7 inches past my shoulders,so during this whole summer,i'm not gonna put ANY heat on my hair (that includes flatironing as well). i can manage tho lol. i drink 4-6 bottles of water everyday and i exercise 3x a week.
however,is there any other options i can include to grow my hair longer?
i get half an inch a month but i want to speed my hair process up.
any tips or anything?

Your hair is growing within average and there's nothing you can do to slow down or speed up this process, because how fast your hair grows is pre-determined by your genes. You just have to be patient.Black women:any tips for african american hair to grow longer?
I think you are doing lots of good things to protect your hair from damage and breakage. You can't make it grow any faster but you can improve its health by making sure that you have a good, balanced diet. Hair needs protein, iron, zinc and B vitamins. Protective styles, such as sew-ins, corn rows but not braided extremely tight.
Scalp massages, MOISTURE is the key!!
