BLACK/BIRACIAL WOMEN: What will using ';Mixed Chicks hair products'; do for a black girl with natural hair?

I'm a black girl going natural. I have no clue what my curl pattern/grade of hair is going to be like. I'm so excited about going on this natural hair journey! I've decided to go natural because I've heard it's healthier and your hair is stronger. Also because, I feel like as a young woman who has always had hair issues (hair breaking off and never growing), it's something I need to experience to be forced to trust in my own beauty and confidence. I want big, poofy, wild coily hair. My natural inspirations have been mostly 3c's and A's like this....

I would be disappointed and upset if my hair texture wasn't like that or if I couldn't get my hair to do that. I've heard the hair product, Mixed Chicks, enhances your curls.

What's your experience with it?

What would it do for a black girl who wasn't mixed?BLACK/BIRACIAL WOMEN: What will using ';Mixed Chicks hair products'; do for a black girl with natural hair?
The Mixed Chicks line is no different than the thousands of other product lines out there. Your biggest mistake when wanting to go natural is that your hair will look like someone else's. Black people, bi-racial, and multi-racial people's hair can ';look'; alike but can be completely different thicknesses, textures, density, etc because of your genetics and heredity. To the poster above, I am black and my hair texture would be what some consider a ';mixed race'; texture so please don't go there with the ignorance. I have known MANY bi-racial (African American and Caucasian American to be clear) people whose hair was kinkier than mine. Yahoo questioner, do some research before going the natural route because if you don't end up with Traycee Ellis Ross, Cree Summer, etc type hair, it sounds like you will be disappointed and then you'll have a whole other set of ';issues'; to deal with.

Check out this video, this BLACK woman (and she lets people know that multiple times) did a product review on the Mixed Chicks and she didn't like it.

black people and biracial people have 2 completely different hair textures, so trying to compare them won't work.

If you want to ask a question about black hair, put black hair, not black/biracial hair.

Edit: To the poster below, you're calling me ignorant, but you are black and said that your hair is considered ';mixed race.'; You information is contradicting itself. Don't call ME ignorant. Typically, black people have afro hair, and if you try to deny that, you are the ignorant one here.
