Hair question for black women!!?

I need to take out my ';tracks'; soon, but I'm hesitant because I would like to know the best way to do so without damaging much of my natural hair. Last year I did it, and I ripped some of my hair out. 'Ouch!' Please please help. Thanks in advance.Hair question for black women!!?
I agree with the others, baby oil will help them slide out. Also, I remember this being a bonding experience with girlfriends and family. Find someone to help you take them out. :) If you're tired of tracks, get a maxi glide, it is the ultimate hookup for ethnic hair. :)Hair question for black women!!?
try baby oil to loosen them up thats is what i did. It really work and they will slide right out
if they are glued in there is a solution that they sell at the beauty store made for that..leave it in for about 30 they come right out..if not try baby oil and let it sit in for awhile
yeah i say wash them a lot, and put a lot of oil on them to loosen them up. i used to have braids, and i used to wait till they would fall out!
i agree with the two other girls. I think Sallys has a spray that helps loosen up the glue
