Why do a lot of white women touch a black woman's hair without FIRST asking AND waiting for permission?

...some black women may not mind, but some find this OFFENSIVE so...STOP before putting YOUR hand in someones hair..., your rudeness! Why do a lot of white women touch a black woman's hair without FIRST asking AND waiting for permission?
I'm not black but I have had people do this to me and it's friggin annoying .Why do a lot of white women touch a black woman's hair without FIRST asking AND waiting for permission?
Because most of them will try to hurt you
I know what you mean ...it is very annoying to have someone touch your hair...I'm not sure why people do this and I don't know that it has anything to do with black or white or asian or any ethnicity....but I know I don't like it !
Thank you !!!!!!!
I would never touch anyones hair, white ppl also do seem so into your hair styles, and options. Maybe cuz our hair is very versitle and pretty.

I would never touch a white persons hair, never had any interest and i find their hair disgusting. I mean white ppl get bugs in their hair(EWWW), and they have sticky, stringly, oily thin hair, that sheds like an animal. THAT SH*t is nasty. Its actually very nasty. You couldn't pay me.
I have never seen anyone do that .....
Next time it happens put your fingers in her ear.

Hopefully they will take offense, that is when you tell them how you feel.
this should surely be due to the fact that whites belief that they are superior and blacks dont give any damn.
Why would you touch anyone's hair before asking...unless you were a hairdresser..

I don't understand
you can't handle the truth
I see why you would be fed up with it. I have long (I can almost sit on it), wavy, soft, thick hair. People see my hair and always go to touch it, telling me its so nice, I wish I had hair like yours and stuff like that. I take it as a compliment. You don't see anyone touching THEIR hair. I have actually always liked black peoples hair, its differnet from one to the next. Unique. I have never touched their hair without permission, but I know why people would be tempted to.
I gotta agree w/brevejunkie. I've had some black friends who have told me that their hair gets washed about once a week......sometimes longer if they have weaves or braids. Not to mention all the greasy hair products........I don't wanna touch it.
I don't touch anyones hair
Someone's being overly touchy today.
That's just gross! I don't touch other people's hair or anything that touches their hair such as hats or brushes. You never know who has lice. YUK!
You shouldn't stereotype white people. Blacks don't like to be stereotyped, whites don't either. Why did you have to say white women touch black women's hair, why not just say some PEOPLE?
What if a white man touched your hair without asking?
I have never done this nor would I ever.
i have never seen it happen before in my life and never heard any white people talk about it. i think its just a bizarre racist thing that black people made up to laugh at white people, like how they all say that white people never use a washcloth or that we all smell like dogs when it rains. just racism, thats all.
Omg I don't touch people's hair. You must have some strange friends!
I'm mixed and have long hair, at least for someone of color,(don't mean to stereotype) and I don't have a problem with white women touching my hair. It is almost always black women who do and comment on how nice my hair is. It doesn't bother me though, unless they take it overboard with the touching.
Id never touch there hair (dont no where its been)
It's not just white women touching black women's hair. I am white, and I have had lots of different people touch my hair as well.

I don't go around touching other people's hair myself. It is annoying and rude.
I would never touch a black woman's hair without asking. Most of the black women I know wash their hair only once a week, and the thought of me putting my hands in it is just disgusting. Little known fact...the hair is the dirtiest part of the human body (even more so than a person's genitals). Hair is very porous and absorbs everything.
