Question for black women with natural hair.?

As your hair grow does the ends get looser. I noticed that my roots are a lot tighter than my ends. Is it that way in general or am I damaging my hair?Question for black women with natural hair.?
It sounds like you have a head full of thick hair.

If that is the case, at the scalp level, your hair is going to be more dense, as hair grows away, it has more room to more, kinda' like a broom: bound at the top, flexible at the ends.

Or...you might have a relaxer, if so, then your new growth is a whole lot stronger, and your ends will be ';looser'; because they are weakened due to being chemically treated.

That won't get any better.

I went natural about 4 years ago and have never looked back.Question for black women with natural hair.?
that's normal its new growth in your roots and your ends are loose because of your perm but the roots is your natural hair growing in without the chemicals you have in your hair. just keep your hair condition or a leave in conditioner and keep your roots greased or you can also use v05 it has a variety of different things that would keep your hair healthy.
the first time i transitioned that's how my hair was. I thought i had done it wrong got frustrated and relaxed again (which was stupid) I'm transitioning again and its doing the same thing again i guess its just how out hair goes
That is just the way it goes!
