Good Flat irons for Black women's hair?

I'm looking for a good flat iron that will straighten my hair leaving it silky and shiny. I am considering buying a CHI iron, FHI iron, or Corioliss iron but I'm not sure if those will work well with my type of hair, which is thick and coarse.

Does anyone know if these irons work or know of any that will work for a black women's hair??Good Flat irons for Black women's hair?
I have a knockoff CHI that I bought at Sally's Beauty Supply for around $60. The brand is GVP - Generic Value Products. My hair is coarse, thick, wavy and frizzy and this iron works better than the CHI, in my opinion (which I've used, but never owned), to get my hair super straight, smooth and silky. It also has a heat control switch that is great for ensuring you don't damage your hair. The reviews are all rave and it's a much better deal than the CHI ($100-120). If there's not a Sally's near you, you can order it online.

I use Gold N' Hot. My hair is really thick and course and they work really good with it.
I use a corioliss everyday. but my hair is thin and smooth.. so idk. it's worth a try.
